Reasons to Be Thankful for Obamacare

Reasons to Be Thankful for ObamaCare

Many reasons to be thankful for obama care

There are many reasons to be thankful for Obama Care. When you take the time to look.

This Thanksgiving, a great deal of Americans will certainly be providing many thanks for Obama's Healthcare Bill.

By the end of this month, the federal government's web site will manage to deal with 800,000 individuals each day, sufficient to enlist everybody that requires insurance coverage by the end of the year. On the other hand, the state-run exchanges are showing "a November registration surge," exactly as the Obama administration predicted. When they used a specific required in 2006., Massachusetts likewise experienced a late registration rise. Everyday, we hear brand-new stories concerning Americans that are saving countless bucks on their insurance prices. Even, consisting of House Speaker John Boehner, whose brand-new Obama Care insurance policy will cost cents on the buck of his six-figure earnings.

And not a minute to prematurely. Earlier this month, the detached Commonwealth Fund published the results of their most recent survey of eleven industrialized countries, including the United States, where they asked folks about their encounters with the healthcare system in the previous year. Their seekings are a sad suggestion of just how bad the standing quo is-- and why we demanded health and wellness reform to begin with.

Since they can't afford it, a lot of Americans do not go to the doctor when they're unwell. A lot of do not visit the pharmacy or take their medication. Add everything up, and 37 percent of Americans had some kind of "cost-related gain access to problem" in the past year.

Or France, where the number goes down to 18 percent. Or the UK, where it's 4 percent.

The exhibit is sufficient, you could state. Even more individuals have more accessibility, yet they additionally have to hang around in line's longer? Not essentially.

In the majority of countries, the bulk of the populace might see a medical professional within a day of their demand. The United States put second-to-last in this group. A quarter of our populace had to wait 6 days or more-- a little much better compared to Canada, however far even worse than Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the UK.

That's key treatment. The United States is known for its professionals, where 76 percent of the population got an appointment in much less than 4 weeks and just 6 percent needed to hang around two months or additional. That's a heck of a lot better than Australia, where only 51 percent obtained a session in less compared to four weeks and 18 percent needed to wait two months or even more. Or Canada, where the numbers are 39 percent and 29 percent, specifically.

But it's regarding the exact same as the Netherlands, where the numbers are 75 percent and 3 percent. And the UK, where they're 80 percent and 7 percent. As well as Germany isn't much behind, at 72 percent and 10 percent.

So it's a combined bag, yet we're certainly not ahead.

In the majority of nations, it's a whole lot simpler to obtain after-hours care compared to in the United States. Only 35 percent of American medical professionals have an arrangement to look after their people after the workplace is closed-- by far the most affordable portion of all the nations checked. In Canada, it's 46 percent. In France, it's 76 percent. In Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, it's 90 percent or higher.

And the doctors have a whole lot even more issues in the United States, where the documents stacks up. One in three-- 32 percent-- mentioned considerable documents or repayment problems in 2013, compared with 23 percent in France, 17 percent in Germany, 15 percent in Canada and 4 percent in the UK.

No marvel every person else is healthier with their wellness good care compared to we are.

Just 25 percent of Americans think their wellness system functions well. In the various other nations, that approval rating ranges from 40 percent in France to 63 percent in the UK.

Whereas 27 percent of Americans believe the health and wellness device needs to be completely rebuilt, that disapproval score ranges from 12 percent in Norway to 4 percent in the UK.

That's a great deal of numbers, yet they all tell the very same tale: The United States has the most complicated, most costly and most frustrating health care device in the developed globe-- and none of that is due to Obama Care, many of which worked after the survey.

Obama Care is relocating our device deeper to our worldwide counterparts. Based upon these numbers, I 'd claim that's most definitely something to be happy for.

The United States is understood for its specialists, where 76 percent of the population acquired a consultation in much less than 4 weeks and only 6 percent had to hang around 2 months or more. That's a heck of a whole lot much better compared to Australia, where only 51 percent got an appointment in less than four weeks and 18 percent had to wait two months or even more. Or Canada, where the numbers are 39 percent and 29 percent, specifically.

Reason's to be thankful for Obama Care, well you answer that.

FIX OBAMA CARE or WHAT

FIX OBAMA CARE or WHAT ?

Working to fix obama care

FIX OBAMA CARE or WHAT ?    The "What" is the big question.

As the days pass and the problems are mounting with the implementation of Obama Care. You know the Website and all.

The 5 million or so people that will not be able to keep their insurance, or worst yet, they see a rise in their premium payments, which makes it unaffordable for them. (the irony).

The 48 million or so that will not get insurance if this bill is DE-funded

I guess I am at a loss for words. I truly believe that we as a Nation, have within us the ability to sit down and reason together. To pull all of the resources that are needed together and find the answer to this dilemma that was created just because, first, a need to provide and make available  Affordable Health Care to those that need it the most, and secondly a desire to address that need by getting it from paper to people.

So we have 2 camps that are talking in Congress. The Democrats and Republicans

There is one other group that you don't hear from much. Maybe I should say, you don't hear from them with a clear voice. It usually is second hand information.

FIX OBAMA CARE or WHAT ?

*********** "THAT GROUP IS THE AMERICAN PUBLIC" **************

What I mean by that, is their voice is heard by way of their Politicians.

I would like to use this blog as a platform to the American public to give a clear and concise summary on how you think we can and should fix Obama care 911.
Or should we just throw it out?

That platform will be the comment section at the end of this post. I have had over 50,000 people visit and read this blog. Therefore I know that your voice will be heard. you are welcome to leave your comments anonymously if you like or with your name.

Obama Apologizes For Insurance Cancellations- HERE'S WHY

Obama Apologizes For Insurance Cancellations

President Obama Apologizing for Insurance Cancellations

President Obama Apologizes For Insurance cancellations and here's why ......

Hold on before we get into that. I want you to consider two video's over the next few minutes, I believe it will give a clearer insight into what is going on behind the scenes.

 Okay indulge me. Video #1

Obama Apologizes For Insurance Cancellations - Here's Why

Video #2

Okay here's my thoughts on this whole mess. That's right, I said mess (personal opinion). When I speak on this, it is in no way to diminish any one group.

Lets look at the numbers. There are #48 million plus Americans that will benefit from the affordable healthcare act. That really is a understated number, when you consider all the other citizens that this Health Care Law will help. ( Elderly, under insured, children with Pre- existing conditions, etc....) . I am just saying.....

Okay so those that oppose the Health Care Act have said that this bill is too much for the country to bare. TOO COSTLY ( how about the war ). This bill, it will cause bankruptcy for the Nation.

So they say, in their actions, let us not do anything to help the poor and less fortunate. Scrap the Health care bill and start afresh.

My question to the powers that be. Are you choosing between the 5 million that are going to see an increase in their insurance policy or the 48 million plus that don't have insurance.

My final thoughts are this: Are you really concerned about those that will see the increase? Is one group worth more than the other, so much so, that you are willing to fight for 5 million and let the 48 million plus, fin for themselves.

As my granddaughter is famous for saying. REALLY, REALLY?????

Can we not be concerned for the whole? Especially since we live in The Greatest Nation on The Face Of The Earth.

As I have said before. I KNOW WE CAN DO BETTER.

Please Leave A Comment For or Against. I would Like To Hear from You.

President Obama Apologizes For Insurance Cancellations, We All Should Apologize for Our Disregard Of Our Fellow Americans. ( My Opinion )

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THE OBAMA CARE WEBSITE ANYWAY

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THE OBAMA CARE WEBSITE ANYWAY !

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THE OBAMA CARE WEBSITE ANYWAY !

WAIT. BEFORE WE GO THERE. HERE IS A LINK TO GET COVERAGE

Also Before You Leave watch : OBAMA CARE OPPONENTS WAGE STATE LEVEL FIGHT

Okay let's address the website. Well the problem or problems are really simple one's that create major delays in signups.

Let's look at it. The experience's to date with the Obama Care 911 website has been the site crashing. Getting some where in the middle of the process and the website freezing or else just completely kicking you out of the system.

The critics are saying that this just proves that Congress should have Defunded Obama Care, or that the President should have delayed this Law. While on the surface it might appear that pointing to the website as the proof that we should have stopped Affordable Health Care Act.

I think that it show that there is a great need for the Law to stay in effect. Why? you say. Well the website was overwhelmed by the number of people that flooded to the site for coverage.

Those that were in charge of setting up the site apparently underestimated the number of people that would attempt to sign up.

To their discredit MAYBE THEY BELIEVED THE HYPE OF NOBODY WANTS THIS HEALTH CARE.

The recorded number of people that came to the website to signup has put that myth to rest.

Okay, so now what do you do?

Well you still need health care. The law does not go into effect until Jan. 01, 2014. so there is plenty of time.

If you don't want to wait till they work out the glitches on the website then there are 2 things you can do in the mean time.

1. Call the telephone #  1-800-318-2596  or  (TTY)   1-855-889-4325

2. Go to the part where you can download the forms, fill them out and mail them in.

Whatever you decided to do, the Health Care  ( thank God ) is not going anywhere. You can still enjoy the Benefits of having Health care.

To answer those that oppose the Health Care Bill 2013 and point to the website as justification why it should be thrown out.

A pic of Obama signing the Health Care Bill, raising the question what the heck is wrong with the Obama care website anyway

Raising that question about the website.

What the heck is wrong with the Obama Care website anyway, glitches, just glitches that can and will be fixed.

The Fight Is Still On To Repeal Obama Care

The Fight Is On To Repeal Obama Care

The fight is still on to repeal Obama Care. WHAT??????????????? There is an on going movement among the GOP to repeal the Affordable Health care Act, better know as Obama Care.

It is not a effort to revise it, you know, just review it, critic it. Find the problem areas and make them better. They want to throw the whole thing out. Get rid of it entirely. Wipe it out. What this appears to be ( to me anyway ) is  a concerted effort to stop it at all cost. Did you know that  this Thursday will be the 37th time that a vote will be made to repeal the law. 37 times. REALLY. to give it a more clear picture, it appears that the GOP is willing to throw the baby out with the wash.

There seems to be no thoughts of the 40 million people that now have access to Health Care that they never had before. Or the million's of women that will be able to get preventive care with no up front cost, that will without argument save lives.

House Speaker John Boehner is officially reneging on his short-lived acceptance that Obama Care is the law of the land, and by holding a vote Thursday to fully repeal Obama Care.

Last November, shortly after the 2012 election, when asked if he planned to spend time on further repeal votes,  Boehner insisted that while he might try to repeal a parts of the bill, the election had changed the situation.  However, it  appears conservative backlash from within the GOP party quickly forced him to backtrack on that claim.

Both House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi & Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid have rightly slammed Boehner designs for this new vote. Which has fundamentally no chance of passing the Senate, much less making it past Obama desk in the oval office. Reid went as far as to say "the vote proves Republicans have lost their minds".

Albert Einstein defined insanity as follows: doing the same thing over & over again & expecting different results. Reid told reporters Wednesday "If his definition is true and I won't argue with Einstein, then House Republicans have truly lost their minds".

Just how futile is this vote? The Congressional Budget Office isn't even bothering to score it. In a letter to House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf explained that his office is too busy to take on the task of estimating its impact, instead pointing out to him the estimated impact of the 2012 repeal attempt, which would increase the deficit by $109 billion.

COMPARE THE COST OF THE WARS TO OBAMACARE

But some veteran Republicans who are staunchly against the law see this symbolic vote as a gift to their conservative freshman colleagues (although it is ultimately a vote in favor of growing deficits) who were unable to have a voice in the 112th Congress 36th vote to repeal the health reform law.
If you are a freshman, the guys who have been up here the last year, they can go home and say listen, they voted 36 different times to repeal or replace Obama Care." Tell me what are the new guys  supposed  to say"? Congressman Mick Mulvaney asked late last month. We have not had a repeal or replace vote this year.
Boehner echoed those comments last week." We have got 70 new members who have not had a chance to vote on the President's  Health Care Law. Frankly they have been asking for a chance to vote on it".
Those members could be asking for that vote because of public perception of Obama Care. Despite an abundance of polls that have shown the individual provisions of the law are popular. The latest tracking poll conducted around the year anniversary of the signing of the law found slightly more Americans oppose than support. It's divided along a sharp partisan likely to benefit Republicans in conservative districts.
The same poll also found that a little over half the country supports attempts to repeal the law, no matter how futile they may be.
SO THE FIGHT IS STILL ON TO REPEAL OBAMA CARE

OBAMACARE AFFORDABLE HEALTH ACT

ObamaCare, again we find ourselfs looking at a statement that came out yesterday about ObamaCare. It  reads like this.

‘Obamacare’ to cost $20,000 a Family? . When you read this the immediate reaction would naturally be a negative response. Especially for a family that is struggling. ONCE AGAIN I FIND THE FACTS TWISTED.

Lets Look at the question as it was presented and the answer the IRS gave as a answer.

Q: Did the IRS say that the cheapest health insurance plan under the federal health care law would cost $20,000 per family?
A: No. The IRS used $20,000 in a hypothetical example to illustrate how it will calculate the tax penalty for a family that fails to obtain health coverage as required by law. Treasury says the figure “is not an estimate of premiums.”

FULL QUESTION
The Internal Revenue Service issued a report in which it estimated that under Obamacare, the least expensive health insurance plan available to a family in 2016 would cost $20,000 annually, according to CNS News.com.
Is this a true report?
FULL ANSWER
This question — and several more from readers — was prompted by an article published by the Cyber cast News Service (an “alternative” news site run by the conservative Media Research Center) with the headline: “IRS: Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be $20,000 Per Family.” But the IRS made no such declaration about the future cost of health insurance plans.
In January, the Treasury Department and IRS issued proposed regulations for the individual shared responsibility provision of the health care law. That provision, otherwise known as the “individual mandate,” requires nonexempt persons to obtain minimum essential health insurance for themselves and their nonexempt family members, or pay a penalty when filing their income taxes. The proposed regulations include several examples of how the “shared responsibility payment,” as it was called, would be calculated for single persons and families of various sizes and incomes.
One of the examples from the proposed regulations, and the basis for this claim, is below:
IRS REG-148500-12: Example 3. Family without minimum essential coverage. (i) In 2016, Taxpayers H and J are married and file a joint return. H and J have three children: K, age 21, L, age 15, and M, age 10. No member of the family has minimum essential coverage for any month in 2016. H and J’s household income is $120,000. H and J’s applicable filing threshold is $24,000. The annual national average bronze plan premium for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) is $20,000.
Beginning in 2014, individuals and families purchasing health insurance on their own will be able to shop for insurance in their state- or federal-run health care exchanges. Qualified health plans offered through the exchanges will provide four basic levels of coverage (bronze, silver, gold and platinum), with the bronze-level plan being the lowest tier of acceptable coverage.
But the headline of the Cybercast News Service report simply jumps to the conclusion that the IRS said that the “Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be $20,000 Per Family,” when there was no indication that that was the case. An opinion piece published on Life News.com made the same leap, claiming that “the IRS … has finally released a cost analysis based on ObamaCare regulations showing that the cheapest health care plan in 2016 will cost average American families of four or five members $20,000 per year for the so-called ‘bronze plan.’ ”
For one thing, the example in the proposed regulations uses the word “average,” which means that the “cheapest” plan could, in fact, be lower than $20,000. But more important, the regulations weren’t a “cost analysis” at all. A spokesperson for the Treasury Department confirmed to Fact Check.org in an email that the IRS wasn’t making any declarations or projections about what prices will be.
“[Twenty thousand dollars] is a round number used by IRS for a hypothetical example,” the official wrote. “It is not an estimate of premiums for a bronze plan for a family of five in 2016.”
So far, no one knows exactly how much insurance plans on the exchanges will cost. The health care law only mentions actuarial for the four tiers of coverage — in other words, how much of an insured person’s health care costs a plan is expected to cover. Bronze plans are to cover at least 60 percent of costs; silver plans will cover 70 percent. Gold plans will cover 80 percent, and platinum plans will cover 90 percent of the costs. In each case, the remaining percentage is left to the insured to pay through deductibles, co payments and coinsurance.
In January 2010, before the Affordable Care Act became law, the Congressional Budget Office projected that, in 2016, premiums for bronze plans would, on average, cost “between $12,000 and $12,500 for family policies.” That estimate has not been updated since.
About how much are families paying now?
Most recently, the average annual premium for employer-sponsored coverage for a family of four reached $15,745 in 2012 — up 4 percent from 2011 — according to a survey conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Health Research & Educational Trust. On average, workers paid $4,316 toward the cost of their coverage, while employers covered the remainder.
There is less information available about what individuals and families pay in the non-group market. But a 2010  survey, also conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation, found that, on average, people paid a premium of $7,102. That was for families of two or more, however, so premiums could vary widely depending on the number of insured. And while their premiums are typically lower, those purchasing insurance on their own tend to pay higher out-of-pocket costs, according to KFF.
It is also worth noting that under the federal health care law, individuals and families for whom purchasing insurance is deemed unaffordable will be exempt from having to pay the tax penalty. Those with incomes below 138 percent of the federal poverty level will be eligible for Medicaid. And people with incomes up to 400 percent of the poverty level ($92,200 for a family of four and $44,680 for a single person in 2012) — who are not also eligible for public coverage such as Medicaid and Medicare — will receive federal subsidies to help cover the cost of acquiring health insurance. In its most recent reports, the CBO projected that, in 2023, about 80 percent of the 25 million people purchasing insurance through the exchanges would receive subsidies from the government.
The Kaiser Family Foundation has developed a “Health Reform Subsidy Calculator,” which allows people to get a sense of who might be eligible for premium support from the government, and how much the subsidy might be. (It is just an illustration, though, and not meant to suggest that this is exactly what people will pay or receive in subsidies.) Assuming a medium-range regional cost factor, the premium for a 50-year-old policyholder — in a family of four, with a household income of $92,200 — could be $16,858, according to the subsidy calculator. But that family might also qualify for an $8,099 subsidy, leaving them to pay $8,759. That estimate is close to the average subsidy of $8,290 that CBO projects exchange participants would receive in 2023.
